Professor Tadeusz Dębniak, habilitated doctor of medical sciences, is an expert in the field of clinical genetics of cancer.

He is a professor at the Department of Genetics and Pathomorphology at the Pomeranian Medical University in Szczecin. He also works professionally as a specialist in dermatology and venereology.

Achievements:

• author of over 200 publications, cited over 5,000 times
• author of many Polish and international scientific articles on melanoma, breast cancer and predisposition to cancer
• winner of prestigious awards in the field of cancer genetics
• decoration Silver Cross of Merit of the Republic of Poland

From the beginning, his scientific career was associated with the Pomeranian Medical University in Szczecin, where he gained professional experience since 1990.

The professor is also a Member of the Supervisory Board of “Read-Gene” – an innovative technology company that deals with the detection, prevention and treatment of various types of malignant tumors.

In the “Wellysa” application, he will be responsible for expert assessment of the occurrence of founder mutations in the studied population. Users will also be able to individually consult their results with him.
